This role involves leading a team of engineers in the design, development, and integration of the Pro Power Onboard feature and technologies; collaborating with cross-functional teams to define feature requirements and specifications, providing technical guidance to address engineering challenges, and implementing best practices to reduce complexity by minimizing power offering variants and reducing cost. With our incredible plans for the future of mobility, we have a wide variety of opportunities for you to accelerate your career and help us define tomorrow’s transportation. + Engaging cross functional teams (e.g. UX, HMI, Connectivity, Marketing, etc.) to lead PPO development with a keen focus on the end customer’s user experience via Ford Pass. + Oversee the planning and execution of PPO feature system integration , including coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with PPO timelines and quality standards. + Provide technical guidance and mentorship to PPO team members/stakeholders + Ensure PPO team maintains timely progression of all deliverables with an emphasis on consistent status upkeep in JIRA + Monitor and analyze performance metrics and data analytics to identify trends and opportunities for optimization and drive continuous improvement initiatives along with cost reduction ideas. **Required Qualifications** + Bachelors Degree in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering or related degree + 5+ years of related experience in Automotive Engineering role + Strong understanding of vehicle electrical systems and/or features required + Functional knowledge electrical module design, networking, wiring, power distribution, chassis systems, lighting systems, etc. + Electrical Systems Engineering experience including understanding of systems engineering V model + Electrical D&R experience + Launch experience **Preferred Qualifications** + Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related degree You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!
