We are currently seeking an Account Manager to join our Federal Sales team. Do you have what it takes to guide prospects and customers through this revolution?
Cloudera Account Managers earn their customers, partners, and competitors’ respect by showcasing use cases that transform the business of governing by leveraging customers' available data. Account Managers provoke intellectual exploration through peer customer success stories that challenge some of the basic fundamentals in their customers’ business.
As a Federal Account Manager you will:
Know the DoD market, needs, operating model, decision making process, key roles and have current relationships in the Federal space.
Aligned with the company's strategic objectives, handle and grow revenue and market share at designated accounts to improve customer satisfaction up to senior leader level.
Develop and deliver comprehensive business plans to address customer and prospect priorities and critical needs.
Convey public and acquired intelligence about customer technology footprints, strategic growth plans, technology strategies and competitive landscape and trends.
Introduce domain product and service experts/specialists while maintaining account oversight.
Own account relationships and drive overall customer satisfaction for assigned accounts.
Build consensus and develop relationships at multiple levels – executive sponsors, influencers and decision makers.
Navigate large scale enterprise transactions.
Forecast revenue, articulate account updates and update management and marketing on competitive intelligence.
Exceed quarterly and annual software targets and objectives
We're excited about you if you have:
Minimum 5+ years of exceeding enterprise software sales targets in the Federal Market
Familiarity with government contracting vehicles
Experience selling into DoD
Experience selling Big Data, Data management, Business intelligence, or Data warehousing
Virtualization and cloud knowledge
Confirmed start-up and large company salesforce performance
Technical aptitude and background a plus
Active Clearance preferred but must have the ability to qualify and maintain a Security Clearance
Ability to travel 50% of the time
Bachelor’s degree is required
