Job Title: Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Superintendent to manage and oversee construction projects at the Naval Support Activity (NSA) Mechanicsburg. The projects include mechanical upgrades to two buildings, small site work, finishes to all three buildings, and a large renovation/upgrade to an existing elevator system.

ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee construction projects at NSA Mechanicsburg.Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including OSHA and EM-385-1-1 standards.Coordinate with the Quality Control Manager and Project Manager to ensure project milestones are met.Review and interpret construction drawings and documents.Inspect construction sites to ensure adherence to plans and specifications.Oversee quality control and site safety protocols.Essential Skills5-8 years of previous federal construction experience.Strong mechanical Experience Proficiency in construction inspection and understanding construction drawings.Knowledge of federal construction standards.OSHA30 certification.EM-385-1-1 certification.Additional Skills & QualificationsARMY CORP QCM certification (preferred).Experience with quality control and site safety protocols.USACE knowledge.Work Environment

Work will be performed on-site at NSA Mechanicsburg. The Superintendent will work alongside a Quality Control Manager and Project Manager, ensuring smooth project execution. The work environment will involve adherence to strict safety and quality control measures.
