Federal Project Coordinator
Job Description Coordinates with the USPS project managers with multiple hazardous materials (asbestos, lead paint, mold, universal wastes, etc.) projects simultaneously for government clients including surveys, preparation of technical specifications, and third-party oversight work.  Preparing various sized technical reports (some examples third party oversight reports, completion reports, Phase I and IIs, remedial work plans, facility assessment tools).  Strong attention to detail.  Time management skills.  Coordinate with various subcontractors.  Multi-tasking and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and strong organization skills.  Highly motivated, customer focused and works well in a team environment.  Excellent communication, responsiveness, and customer service skills.  Ability to communicate effectively project needs to team members and project leads.  Ability to manage a heavy workload.  Flexible with a work schedule. Skills and Requirements Bachelor's degree in environmental sciences or related field (geology, biology, hydrology, physical sciences etc.)  2-4 years of hazardous materials experience (asbestos/lead paint, mold, emergency response, etc.)  Experience coordinating subcontractors.  Technical reporting/writing skills - Experience preparing a variety of technical reports related to hazardous materials, including technical specifications, health and safety plans, air sampling plans, survey plans, and oversight reports  Experience providing on-site third-party oversight of abatement contractors, including assessing compliance with regulations, conducting visual clearance, and collecting air clearance samples.  Survey experience AHERA, renovation/demolition, emergency response/recovery (ex wildfires, floods, hurricanes, hazmat spills etc.), condition assessments, etc.  Understanding work scopes and preparing proposals.
