Fee Based Senior Associate- AMS Trading Administration

This position will follow our hybrid work model; we expect the selected candidate to work 2-3 days a week at our corporate offices in Memphis, TN.

Job Summary:

You will be a part of the Asset Management Services division at Raymond James Associates, which offers comprehensive asset management services and products for Raymond James financial advisors (FAs). As the Fee-Based Senior Associate, you will work under general supervision, supporting and assisting to complete assigned job responsibilities and projects consistent with department policy guidelines and procedures. These projects and duties will vary widely based on department needs and priorities. You will serve as the liaison between branches and the home office, providing administrative, analytical, and operational support necessary for our FAs to deliver high-quality, fee-based advisory services to clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform various operational procedures within the department, including processing new fee-based agreements, reconciling systems, distributing accounts, and handling terminations.Answer calls and inquiries related to fee-based accounts.Research and resolve advanced and complex business issues.Serve as a backup for cross-functional responsibilities during absences.Assist in special projects.Maintain various data files and records.Prepare letters, memos, and various documents.Monitor incoming mail and documents.Provide training to other team members.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Intermediate principles, practices, and procedures of general office concepts and those that govern fee-based operations, finance, and/or securities industry operations.Process flows within a specific assigned functional area.Regulations for specific assigned functional areas.


Skill in:

Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications to produce correspondence, reports, electronic communication, spreadsheets, and databases.Analyzing data to identify discrepancies.Problem solving.


Ability to:

Organize, manage, and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.Use appropriate interpersonal styles and communicate with internal associates and external contacts at all levels, both orally and in writing.Effectively gather all relevant information to analyze, research, and resolve business issues to make decisions.


Educational/Previous Experience Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in customer service or the financial services industry.

Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources.
