The Community CFTSS program is an OMH regulated program that supports children and adolescents. The Mental Health Consultant is responsible for providing community-based clinical services to children identified as being at risk for a behavioral health issue. The individual is required to work in-person in the community, which could include homes, schools, or other places that the family identifies as being most conducive and convenient for them.
Responsibilities Provide individual, group, and supportive family sessionsProvide crisis intervention, as neededAdminister appropriate evidence based and developmentally appropriate and culturally informed interventionsComplete clinical assessments, treatment plans and progress notes in a timely mannerEngage in professional development and certification and training opportunities and participate in reflective supervisionOther related duties Qualifications Master’s degree in social work or a related field AND licensure as a New York State Mental Health Provider. Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.Fee - For - Service
