Triumph Foods also holds a 50 percent partnership in Seaboard Triumph Foods, LLC of Sioux City, Iowa, a primary pork processing plant. \n

Position Overview & Responsibilities: \n

Support production operations by providing service to all areas of the feed order process including receipt of orders and distribution to the appropriate milling location. Ensures the appropriate feed is ordered, and the appropriate mill is assigned to execute the delivery. Has responsibility to ensure that all locations, farms and feed mills have the information necessary to ensure food safety and protect herd health. \n

Major Areas of Accountability:\n
\n\nAssess and resolve issues related to transportation, customer problems, and logistics systems\nDevelop innovative solutions to address logistical challenges\nCollaborate with various departments to create a comprehensive feed delivery plan\nProvide logistics support for all outbound complete feed shipments\nAnalyze the financial impact of logistical processes and proposed changes to optimize efficiency in routing and resources while meeting customer and biosecurity requirements\nWork closely with the Feed Distribution Manager and Feed Logistics Lead on all aspects of feed delivery and logistics\nCoordinate with company and contract fleets to ensure the successful execution of feed delivery\nPartner with toll mills to meet manufacturing and delivery needs\nServe as the liaison between the farm and feed mill, providing customer support to the both the contract and company grower base\nOptimize truck utilization to maximize efficiency while ensuring timely and accurate deliveries\nImplement and execute feed delivery plans that align with nutritional demands\nPlan and manage feed inventories strategically to accommodate mill shutdowns, weather disruptions and other unforeseen events, ensuring no disruptions in farm operations\nEnsure accurate and complete documentation is obtained and verified prior to the shipment of medicated feed to maintain compliance with regulatory standards\nManage logistics and coordination of feed relocation efforts, ensuring efficient scheduling and communication with drivers for seamless execution\nEnsure and maintain adequate on farm feed inventory\nSupport the coordination of feed logistics-related projects and initiatives\nCoordinate on-farm training to equip farm personnel with the necessary skills, knowledge and tools for effective feed and bin management\n\n

Education, Training and Experience Requirements:\n\n2-year degree or equivalent experience preferred.\nStrong organizational skills with attention to precision and accuracy.\nAbility to manage time and priorities in a fast-paced environment, adapting to shifting demands.\nEffective verbal and written communication skills with service-oriented professionalism.\nIndependent thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nProficient in Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Word, Outlook) and 10-key.\nTeam-oriented, solution-driven, and capable of maintaining professional relationships.\nDemonstrates initiative, collaboration, and commitment to the organization's values.\n
