Join our company and be part of an innovative team that’s First in Food. Location Description Michael Foods, Inc., located in Bloomfield, Nebraska, is one of our only cage free facilities. The facility is located three miles outside of Northeast Nebraska's busiest community. Bloomfield is a haven for those who prefer small-town life over city living and is located less than 30 miles from recreation areas where you can enjoy fishing, boating, kayaking and camping. Our location produces liquid egg product that is sent to our other facilities for further processing. Responsibilities JOB SUMMARY: To assist in mill operations and delivery of feed to the houses in an efficient manner. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for mixing feed rations according to instructions from Feedmill Supervisor. Assign feed orders and deliveries to proper bin location. Responsible for all feed ingredients and making sure they are assigned to the proper bin. Observe mill for proper operations and maintain truck and tractor. Make sure that accurate inventory and records are kept. Responsible for hauling assigned loads to proper bins at Bloomfield and Plainview Responsible for making sure truck is legally loaded, not over weight. Responsible for daily truck inspection and fuel usage reports. Responsible for operating feed leg and drag conveyors. Assist in mill maintenance and repair as needed. Conscious of housekeeping practices. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent. Experience: Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add and subtract and to multiply and divide. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, fractions, ratios. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram or schedule form. Licenses, certificates, registrations: Class A CDL License or ability to obtain one Other skills and abilities: Must be able to obtain a valid Nebraska Class A CDL license. Ability to read and understand oral and written instructions. Free of any breathing or asthmatic conditions, dusty conditions prevail. Must have good mechanical ability. Must pass all DOT driving requirements. Some computer skill and knowledge. Ability to climb ladders up to 130 feet in height and able to ascend and descent stairs. Ability to safely lift 75 lbs.
