Details Title Fellow in History of Art and Architecture School Faculty of Arts and Sciences Department/Area CAMLab - History of Art and Architecture Position Description Position Overview: Position Summary: The Fellow will lead the overall planning, coordination, and execution of the “Journey to Enlightenment” project, ensuring the seamless integration of research, design, and delivery of the exhibition. This role is ideal for candidates with strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills, along with a background in Buddhist art and cultural heritage. Key Responsibilities: + Project Management: Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure on-time and high-quality execution. + Collaboration: Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams, external collaborators, and stakeholders, fostering effective communication and partnership. + Exhibition Site Coordination: Oversee logistics related to the setup and installation of the multimedia exhibition across various venues. + Event Coordination: Plan and execute associated events such as panel discussions, workshops, and public programs. + Team Management: Lead multidisciplinary teams, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities, while cultivating a collaborative and high-performance environment. + Research: Support the exhibition’s content by conducting or coordinating research on Buddhist art and cultural heritage sites. Basic Qualifications + Master’s or Ph.D. degree in art management, Buddhist studies, museum studies, or a related field. + Proven experience in project management, preferably in exhibition or cultural heritage projects. + Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills. + Knowledge of Buddhist art and cultural heritage is essential. + Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and coordinating complex projects. + Fluent in both English and Chinese.
