Fellowship Trained Advanced Endoscopist

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding an Endoscopist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan. The hospital is part of NYC Health + Hospitals. Metropolitan Hospital accommodates over 313,000 outpatient visits, nearly 70,000 emergency room visits and more than 13,000 inpatient admissions annually. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with New York Medical College to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

High volume built out advance endoscopy unit – looking to build a dream team and train the next generation of gastroenterologists with a lot of opportunity to grow Happy to invest in providers who want to invest in this community who believe in health equity and are driven by our mission 5 procedure rooms all supported by near 100% anesthesia support. There are 2 of the 5 rooms with general anesthesia capability and one with fluoroscopy for ERCP. Provide direct patient care, including dedicated clinic sessions, OR Block time, and supervision of resident program panels as required by the department Chairperson Perform Endoscopic Ultrasound procedures Educate, supervise and mentor fellows Mentor and advise residents, medical students, mid-level providers and junior members of the medical staff Participates in medical educational meetings to improve and provide continuous quality care to our patients.  Participate in call coverage for the Gastroenterology service
