Job Title: Fermentation Manager
Job Description

Direct and maintain all aspects of the fermentation process at a technically proficient level. Supervise a group of four to eight individuals on the fermentation and freeze drying processes. Perform daily hands-on work associated with the fermentation equipment, freeze drying equipment, and ensure production runs smoothly and hits daily goals.

This is a fermentation site, and you will be supervising fermentation technicians and freeze drying personnel. You will work closely with corporate teams and other fermentation scientists developing microbes for customers. The role involves working in both the fermentation area and the office. This is a first shift role with a variable start time between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. The typical workweek is 40 to 45 hours, with occasional requirements up to 50+ hours if there are production issues or new client setups.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $100000.00
