Festival Recruitment and Ticketing Coordinator
Job Summary: Company: Festival Republic Department: Ticketing Location: Farringdon, London with onsite work at festivals as required Reports to: Senior Ticketing Manager Working Hours: Full Time Fixed Term Contract until the end of September 2025. Role Description This position involves a high level of responsibility involving Festival and Venue based events. You will be attracting and coordinating ticketing and access control staff across our festival season. The successful candidate will have the ability to take full control of event ticketing and should have prior experience of ticketing at festival and/or large tour level. You will be working on events such as Reading and Leeds, Wireless, Electric Picnic, Latitude and various other high profile day festivals and events over the summer. Who you are Competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience + Demonstrable ticketing experience (Box Office / Ticketing) + Recruitment and staff management/supervision experience would be beneficial + Use of ticketing system(s) such as See or Ticketmaster (or equivalent) + Accounting skills an advantage + Role entails dealing with casual staff, customer related issues, promoters and record companies and others so interpersonal and customer relation skills must be excellent + Good working knowledge of Excel, Word and rest of MS Office is essential + We require applicants to have a full UK driving licence for this position. What the role includes + Large scale staff recruitment and management for festival events including liaising with external sources for referral-based recruitment. Recruitment will make up the main part of the role. + Ticket system operation (Ticketmaster plus other secondary systems) for reporting and ticket distribution. Full training given to the right candidate however a working knowledge of at least one ticketing system is essential. + Sales reporting across various events. + Box Office reconciliation, stock control and distribution and financial reporting. + Maintaining accurate filing systems and general office duties. + Managing multiple entry points/Access Control and Box Offices at events. + To assist in delivering a balanced and accountable reconciliation and audit of stock. + Various other on-site festival duties. + Some manual lifting involved + To abide by and contribute to the Festival Republic’s Equal Opportunities policy.
