Chris-Craft is looking for an experience Fiberglass Cutter/Grinder to help build the best boats in the industry! Working in our Cutting/Grinding areas, you will be responsible for grinding fiberglass and making required cuts into fiberglass parts. Duties and Responsibilities: + Follow work instructions/drawings for assigned tasks + Learn to run Zund machine and understand functionality + Learn to use overlays to layout and mark parts properly before cutting. + Use proper tools to drill holes in fiberglass parts including air saw, grinders and cutters + Able to read, understand and properly use a tape measure + Cross-train and learn new areas + Work effectively with a team and individually + Read and understand engineering documents and drawings + Understands and uses different marking tools to complete cuts effectively Minimum Qualifications: + High school diploma or GED preferred. Technical certification in relevant area helpful. + Experience working with fiberglass helpful + Good working knowledge of pneumatic and basic hand tools + Deadline and detail-oriented, ability to stay on task + Good attention to detail required + Good attendance required + Excellent vision required + Able to wear a respirator + Able to work in environment with hearing protection, respirators and other PPE We are an Equal Opportunity Employer as well as a drug-free workplace.
