Fiduciary Analyst (9 month Temporary Worker)

Guy Carpenter is seeking a Fiduciary Analyst for a 9 month temporary position in our Philadelphia, PA or Hartford, CT office.

Position reports to NA Fiduciary Manager

On day-to-day issues will partner with Client and Market team colleagues

Will confer with Team Managers on multi team issues and projects

We will count on you to:

Works with North America Fiduciary team colleagues to provide fiduciary services to all clients and markets with pro rata, XOL, and FAC

Focus on reconciliation of complex accounts

Assist in driving efficiencies in fiduciary workflow processes

Analyzing fiduciary metric and determine root causes

Review LAPs reports

Assist in driving Collection of Client premium and net account balances

Assist in driving Collection of Market cash calls and CAT claims

Generation of ad hoc market payments

Work with the client and market team on account reconciliations when associated with cash application

Assist with customer banking setup process including approval

Assist with client and market technician queries including approval of system reconciliations

Completes controllership reporting for FAC

Authorize system payments and vet for funding

Participate in projects at needed

Assist Team Manager, and Senior Leader as required

What you need to have: 

2+ years of experience in Cash Accounting and Fiduciary Accounting

Demonstrated experience with Word, Outlook and Excel

High attention to detail

High degree of analytics required in MS Excel

Comfortable with working in a fast-paced deadline oriented environment

What makes you stand out:

Previous reinsurance settlement experience helpful, but not required

Ability to organize and analyze medium to large size datasets
