Fiduciary and Suitability Risk Executive Director
Wealth Management Investment Risk & Analytics (IR&A) is responsible for review of Global Wealth Management business. IR&A's Client Risk team is responsible for review of the first line of defense investment fiduciary and suitability activities such as acting in the client's best interest and recommending products in alignment with a client's willingness to take risk and financial situation) within the Private Bank. This team provides risk review and deep-dive assessments of suitability and fiduciary activities, metrics, and control activities for JPM Wealth Management (JPMWM). You will work closely with other Risk Management colleagues, the Business, and key control functions including Legal, Compliance, Audit, and Control Management, to provide valuable assessment and feedback regarding suitability and fiduciary issues and emergent risks. **Job summary** As a Fiduciary and suitability Risk Associate on the WM Investment Risk & Analytics (IR&A) Client Risk team you'll be responsible for review of the first line of defense investment fiduciary and suitability activities such as acting in the client's best interest and recommending products in alignment with a client's willingness to take risk and financial situation) within the Private Bank. This team provides risk review and deep-dive assessments of suitability and fiduciary activities, metrics, and control activities for JPM Wealth Management (JPMWM). You will work closely with other Risk Management colleagues, the Business, and key control functions including Legal, Compliance, Audit, and Control Management, to provide valuable assessment and feedback regarding suitability and fiduciary issues and emergent risks. **Job responsibilities** + Identify risk issues in the business, perform reviews to identify gaps, and recommend risk mitigation strategies and escalate issues/concerns accordingly. + Aid in performing fiduciary and suitability and fiduciary deep dives and other ad hoc projects + Represent Risk in working groups and/or meetings and review key risk issues, as appropriate + Participate in monthly meetings with global risk team members and senior risk management to discuss risk issues associated with suitability and fiduciary risk. + Engage in regular dialogue with the business, providing informed reviews to business and control partners, including legal and compliance to resolve outstanding Risk issues. + Produce ad hoc reports as needed and contribute to team projects to enhance risk reporting tools and dashboards; + Work across different risk functions, including the controls team and policy governance team to ensure documentation related to fiduciary and suitability are in line with firmwide standards,. **Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills** + Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or economics is required or related field + 3+ years in financial risk management, preferably in Asset Management, Wealth Management, or Private Banking, with experience overseeing Suitability and Fiduciary Risk. + Appreciate the value of teamwork and working in partnership with others to accomplish our goals + Use your knowledge to find answers to pressing problems and create workable solutions + Can handle many different tasks and demonstrate a willingness to take on responsibilities that might lay outside your area of expertise + Strong persuasive skills to work constructively with business partners. + Control mentality with a natural skepticism and ability to anticipate unforeseen consequences. + Self-starter with the ability to initiate, plan, execute, and manage projects. + Have strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills **Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills** + Are inquisitive, with knowledge of data visualization tools (ex.
