Banking, Lending, & Trust (BL&T) unlocks access to Wells Fargo Bank products and services to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families based on needs related to banking, custom lending, and trust services. These bank specialists leverage resources, valuable research, relationships, custom solutions, and highly tuned strategies to address clients' unique needs and aspirations.

BL&T further provides guidance on a variety of banking and fiduciary topics including investment management, general trust administration, specialty trusts, custody, tax, specialty assets, regulatory, privacy, ecommerce, deposit relationship and strategy, and business strategies. The section also provides support to the WIM Diverse Segments group, including WIM referral activity.​

Trust Services Trust advisors discuss the needs of HNW and UHNW clients and provide personalized advice and wealth and asset management services, including:

• Personal trust services.

• Estate services.

• Philanthropic services.

• Closely held asset management.

• Real estate and loan asset management.

• Oil, gas and mineral management.

• Legacy trust services.

• Special needs trust services.

• Managed Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA).

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Fiduciary Senior Manager to oversee the delivery of its Trust Services offering in the Northeast region.  The Fiduciary Senior Manager will be responsible for the management of multiple teams of trust officers and associates located in our Northeast offices, with responsibility for managing the firm’s trust and agency account administration for high-net worth and ultra-high net worth clients of Wells Fargo Wealth and Investment Management.

In this role, you will:

Manage and develop a team of trust officers and associates (including individual contributors and managers), responsible for serving Wells Fargo clients in both a fiduciary and agency capacity.Drive a culture of professional excellence across their regional teams, including building relationships with Wells Fargo Financial Advisors, strong mentorship and apprenticeship, independent thinking and fiduciary judgment, and creating a positive client experience.Assign accounts and ensure relationships are managed according to fiduciary policies and procedures and standards.Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development to ensure the Trust Services business is managed consistently across the organization.Serve as an escalation point for trust officers, financial advisors and clients.Lead team in new business-related efforts and acquisitions.Implement estate plans and collaborate with investment and risk partners to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.Oversee budget and personnel management for the region, including financial reporting and success metrics.Determine appropriate strategy and actions of regional team members to meet risk management deliverables.Collaborate with Trust Services leadership, risk partners and other regional leaders to ensure consistent execution and quality of service across the organization.Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including managers, advisors and firm leadership.Interact directly with clients, as needed, in support of Trust Services and the broader WIM business.Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy.


Required Qualifications:

6+ years of Fiduciary Products experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education3+ years of Management experience


Desired Qualifications:

A BS/BA degree or higher

A Juris Doctor (JD) degree

CTFA or similar industry designation

6+ years of trusts and estates and/or corporate fiduciary experience

Knowledge and understanding of trust, trust administration, fiduciary law, and federal regulations/operations

Leadership experience with ability to effectively manage and engage teams

Strong communication skills and the ability to operate autonomously in a high-pressure environment

Job Expectations:

Travel expectation up to 25%

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$126,400.00 - $287,600.00
