Field Applications Engineer
\nWe are seeking a customer-facing technical professional who will support customer and partner engagements, ensure pre-sales product fit, and help deliver post-sale customization. \nRESPONSIBILITIES\n\n\tAct as lead technical resource on customer and partner engagements.\n\tCollaborate with customers and sales teams to define customer needs, address application fit challenges, and develop tailored solutions.\n\tWrite detailed specifications for product extensions and process automation to meet unique customer requirements.\n\tDesign and develop custom flows in JSONata\n\tCollaborate with datacenter operators and stakeholders to understand system architecture, performance goals, and data requirements.\n\n\n\n\tAnalyze operational data and fit it into analytical models to identify trends, optimize performance, and predict potential issues.\n\n\n\n\tMaintain and update custom workflows to ensure ongoing functionality and alignment with customer needs.\n\n\n\n\tProvide feedback and make recommendations to enhance Vigilent solutions based on customer insights.\n\n\n\n\tTake ownership of engineered solutions, ensuring their quality, scalability, and alignment with business objectives.\n\nREQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE\n\n\n\tExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex technologies to both technical and non-technical audiences.\n\tFamiliarity with programming languages such as Python or Java Script \n\t2+ years’ experience in a customer-facing technical environment.\n\tDependable, reliable, self-starter, collaborative, flexible, organized, motivated.\n\n\n\n\tTechnical degree, preferably Mechanical Engineering.\n\nDESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE\n\n\n\tExperience in data centers or other mission critical facilities.\n\tExperience with building automation systems, HVAC design and construction, or energy efficiency consulting.\n\tExperience in data collection, processing, and modeling, preferably in datacenter environments or similar technical domains.\n\tExperience with GraphQL for crafting efficient queries and leveraging JSONata for dynamic data transformation and workflow development.\n\tApplication integration experience, including with the BACnet and/or Modbus protocols.\n\n\n\n\tWorking knowledge of Internet technologies (IT networking, Remote Access Technology, IP routing, VMware implementation, cloud services).\n\nHIRING DETAILS
