DAY TO DAY:Field Applications Engineer will be responsible for installing and integrating Cognex, Keyence, or Matrox vision systems for automation integrators and OEM facilities. They will be installing these camera's onto existing conveyor systems or other automation equipment then verifying they are connected to the remote network and functioning properly. When the candidate is not on the plant floor, they will be at the build house in Wixom. HOURS:Candidate will be working on average 45 hours per week.They will be working during downtime period which will include weekendsTRAVEL:75% or more.As of now it is local Michigan travel to Ford plants, in the future it could be travel to out of state Ford or GM plants.

MUST HAVES:-Vision experience (Candidate must have experience with Cognex or Matrox Vision Systems)-Automotive Field Experience (Candidate must have plant knowledge)-Network (Candidate must have experience with remote networking and connecting to PLC's)- Must be able to handle pressure and meet deadlines-Team player-Anxious to learn-Must know to to change IP address. NICE:-Ford or GM experienceDQ's- Must have drivers license

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $42.00/hr.
