Job Description

Field Area Managers are responsible for overseeing and managing a specific geographic region or area
for a company. They are typically responsible for a team of Field Service employees and ensure that
they meet company and customer targets, objectives, and requirements. This mission critical role
involves working on a variety of technologies including, media filtration, softening, reverse osmosis (RO),
ion exchange (IX), and ultrafiltration (UF).


Duties &Responsibilities 

Lead and manage a dispersed team of Field Service employees within an assigned geography and business segmentManage contracts and operations at our customer sites to ensure a safe working condition, contract compliance, and financial performanceResponsible for staffing and the development of Field Service employees within your assigned geography and business segmentResponsible for operational metrics such as Environmental, Health and Safety performance, employee utilization, overtime, and operational performance, and operational costsResponsible for proper operation and maintenance of equipment at customer sites in area of responsibilityHelp build strong relationships with our customer base

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities 

Previous management and leadership experience with a field-based teamDemonstrated ability to communicate with internal and external customersStrong troubleshooting skills - ability to analyze and resolve problemsDemonstrated ability to complete and successfully implement projects on timeIntermediate computer and computer-based tools and applications skills

Education & Experience

BS degree in a technical field – for example Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or five years’ experience and relevant leadership experience in industrial water, wastewater, or food & beverage water treatment solutions or related fieldAbility and willingness to travel within assigned geography, with an estimated travel of 30-60%
