ATS/CPM Labs is seeking a Full-time Calibration Technician to join our team. Calibration Technicians will test, calibrate, and adjust a variety of tools across various calibration disciplines including AC/DC electronics systems, temperature devices, torque, pressure, force, scales, and dimensional tools. We are willing to train in areas a potential employee may feel they are lacking experience.This is a full-time role 40 hours a week offering competitive pay and great benefits, including:

Responsibilities :The Calibration Technician will primarily be responsible for the calibration various types of equipment either at our customers' sites or in our calibration laboratory located in Sacramento, CA. This job requires some travel.Responsibilities and duties include:
+ Calibration of mechanical and electrical measuring and test equipment
+ Basic mechanical and physical dimensional calibrations: micrometers, calipers, indicators, pressure gages, torque wrenches, etc.
+ Basic electrical calibrations such as multimeters, transducers, and temperature devices, etc.
+ Calibration of Surface Plates, scales, hardness testers, optical comparators, Ovens, Freezers, incubators, etc.
+ Candidates will work on projects independently and with other technicians as the team grows.
+ Candidate should be a self-starter, organized and should possess good interpersonal skills. Good verbal and written communication skills as well as computer skills are a must.
Requirements:
+ At least two years of experience in a related field required. Experience in one of the fields of Calibration as well as military PMEL, METCAL, or TMDE training preferred.
+ Ability to lift and move 50lbs.frequently and unassisted.

+ Basic technical knowledge of electronic principles to troubleshoot equipment calibration issues in the field. Experience using diagrams, schematics, engineering data, and test equipment is preferred.
+ Position will require some daily travel - most travel would be within a 2-hour range of Sacramento.
+ Position will require the availability to stay up to 1 week per month overnight near a customer’s site within a 5-hour driving range of Sacramento.
+ Good driving record
+ Candidate shall provide their own cell phone with data plan for connection to ATS email and multi-factor authentication.
