Field Connectivity Leader for WH,GI, and ABUS
Job Description SummaryReporting to the Ultrasound Digital Segment Leader, this position is the liaison between the product and commercial teams, for all things related to IT connectivity, networking, and image management. This position mainly supports the Women’s Health, General Imaging and ABUS Ultrasound businesses in the United States and Canada. As the Ultrasound Field Connectivity Leader, you'll work closely with the commercial teams and our customers to define and implement creative solutions to complex connectivity related implementations and challenges. You will leverage your deep understanding of clinical application support, departmental & enterprise workflow implementations, as well as technical understanding of industry standards and trends.

Job DescriptionResponsibilities

Act as the single point of contact to the customer for timely and satisfactory resolution of concerns covering a wide variety of support services offered for assigned region, product, or coverage area - Responsible for knowledge of assigned region, coverage area, or product lines, their associated configuration installations, and represents the most direct access to all appropriate internal functions to support the customer · Establish and maintain contact to provide on-going technical and business support to assigned customers in designated geographic region or coverage area

Includes direct people management responsibility including staffing and performance development. Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.

Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market

Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.

Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in related field is a must

Minimum of five years of demonstrated experience with the following:

Demonstrated knowledge of how ultrasound systems and associated imaging workflow systems function within an enterprise healthcare environment

Technical knowledge of systems such as (but not limited to) EMRs, PACS, Modality Worklist servers and other DICOM infrastructure, identity management, wireless networks, mobile devices, and cloud-based infrastructure.

In-depth, working knowledge of modern networking and DICOM, as well as understanding of HL/7 and IHE standards.

Excellent knowledge of current privacy and security standards and best practices among healthcare institutions

Knowledge of connectivity best practices and practical know-how of enterprise IT systems; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market

Able to apply judgment and creativity, in addition to technical expertise and analytical thinking to address more complicated customer or engineering needs.  Leverages multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at solutions.

Demonstrated ability to interact, present and influence throughout a health system’s information technology organization, from senior level leaders to departmental IT and cybersecurity specialists

Experience with modern programming languages/methodologies like HTLM, Python, Java, or C++

Ability to travel at least 15% of the time

Home-office internet access

Location is remote, anywhere in the continental United States, but within 90 minutes of a well-served airport

Able to work across multiple time zones

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $101,600.00-$152,400.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
