Role description:

Arcadis is looking for a Field Consultant with an engineering or geology background, who will be working between different clients’ sites throughout Italy and will have to supervise the activities carried out by suppliers for environmental and geotechnical investigation and for the construction of sustainable energy plants. 

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in being the client interface in the field, dealing with contractors, construction companies in order to verify that the project and Client’s specifications are respected.

The construction sites will be distributed throughout Italy, including the islands, and therefore the person selected will have to be available to travel for a conspicuous part of their time.

 

Role accountabilities:

Frequent presence on sites to follow investigation, renewable energy and remediation projects; Strong ability to interface with companies working on construction sites and act on behalf of the Client; Verify the correct application of projects with regards to verify correspondence with the executive project Draft and present reports to the client regarding any issues on the site in a timely manner; Support and advise the client during the application of solutions proposed.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

 

Around 5-8 years of working experience in supervision of supplier activities in investigation/remediation/construction site A BSc or MSc degree in Geology/Environmental Engineering or equivalent Strong ability to deal with and maintain good relationships with the Client  Strong oral and written communication skills  Availability to travel up to 80% of the time.
