About us: We are a full-service plumbing, mechanical, HVAC service, controls, and design-build company. + Main office is located at 6127 South Valley Pike, Mount Crawford, VA 22841 + Parent Company - Comfort Systems USA ( https://comfortsystemsusa.com/ ) Primary Purpose of this position: Assemble, install and repair duct, equipment, and accessories in order to construct HVAC systems. Your main Tasks: + To work safely no matter what. Safety is our highest priority. + Learn to lay out and install commercial duct work in a wide variety of job settings. + Unload, move, and handle commercial-scale duct work. + Properly finish and seal duct work. + Work at heights, from ladders, lifts, or roof. + Assist with installing commercial HVAC equipment. + Learn to use a variety of power & hand tools. You need to be able to; + Keep it a Drug-free Workplace. + Be punctual and reliable. + Work as a team. + Do Basic “Tape measure math” + Work in extremes of heat, cold and bad weather, indoors and outdoors. + Stand and walk throughout the workday, and lift/carry up to 60 lbs. + Work efficiently in confined spaces. + Work reaching above shoulders, crawling, squatting, kneeling, bending. + Exercise fine motor control, with good vision and excellent hand-eye coordination.
