Summary 

Provide engineering support to the E-3 DRAGON Training System Support Center (TSSC) located at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Participate in design, planning, installation, and support of computer systems, network hardware, software applications, and peripheralsPerforms setup at desktop and server level – installing, upgrading, implementing and configuring operating systems, applications, software, and hardwareInstalls patches and upgrades to production platformsTroubleshoots problems with computer systems, including hardware and software, network and peripheral equipment.Exercises responsibility for the integrity, security, and maintenance of the systemsManage system security requirementsPerform system security testingMust exhibit high performance and capability to work in a team environmentMust be able to effectively deliver oral presentations to management and customersMust be capable of explaining and instructing technical data in non-technical termsMust be able to work independently and in a team environmentMust be able to work overtime as requiredMust be willing to work any shift or day of the week as required

Qualifications and Education Requirements 

Experience with hardware/software platforms to include MS Windows and RedHatExperience in Microsoft Suite Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Word)Good diagnostic and troubleshooting skillsKnowledge of TCP/IP networking, and related network services (i.e. DNS, SMTP, DHCP, etc.)Experience supporting a network/platform of multiple client systems (Windows, Linux, VMware)Experience supporting Windows Server technologies, Active Directory, DFS, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy managementEndpoint management/reporting using Enterprise Antivirus Management server technologiesAbility to manage multiple tasks, while effectively focusing on priority issuesAbility to create, document, and follow processes and proceduresDue to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role. 

Educational / Experience Requirements

Completed at least one of the following: Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or received other equivalent training/experience3 – 5+ years of related experienceExperience with training and simulation systems preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skills are requiredPossess the ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems


 

Security Responsibilities 

Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures.  Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval.  All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.  

 Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance. 

Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.
