Job Description
This candidate will work with a list of 5-15 clients. This person will mainly be responsible for traveling to customer sites to conduct meetings with clients in person or virtually. Along with travel to commission new and rebuilt pumps, they will monitor their pumps and other rotating shafts with proprietary software when not traveling. They will also create reports for the clients on the appropriate cadence.
ResponsibilitiesConduct analysis with field inspections and installations of sensors.Perform vibration analysis and daily monitoring on all assigned equipment.Develop an understanding of pump hydraulics and mechanical vibration of rotating equipment.Create reports relevant to equipment status, alarm status, and other equipment conditions.Review specifications to determine technical requirements.Contact vendors for pricing, delivery, purchasing, and technical information.Promote a team-oriented attitude and communicate in conjunction with the company's culture and standards.Participate in team meetings, training, and cross-training with the nuclear engineering division.Maintain flexibility to work extended hours as required.Travel onsite to facilities within North America as needed to support customer needs (0-25% travel).Essential SkillsAssociate Degree plus 2 years' experience working in an industrial customer-facing position with experience.Field service experience interacting closely with customers.Mechanical skills.Experience in preventive maintenance.Experience in electronics.About Actalent
