We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented, and motivated Field Engineer to join our dynamic team in a full-time, on-site role based in Los Angeles, CA. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing field activities and ensuring the successful execution of construction projects, particularly in the aviation and infrastructure sectors.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ **On-Site Coordination and Oversight:**
+ Oversee and coordinate daily construction activities between contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations on the job site.
+ Monitor construction progress, ensuring compliance with engineering designs, schedules, and safety protocols.
+ **Project Monitoring and Reporting:**
+ Report project status, including schedule adherence, budget tracking, and any potential delays, to the project and construction managers.
+ Address project delays promptly and proactively, coordinating solutions with relevant teams and stakeholders.
+ **Team Collaboration:**
+ Work closely with office engineers, project managers, and construction managers to ensure seamless communication and alignment between on-site activities and project objectives.
+ Provide technical support and resolve on-site engineering issues that arise during the construction process.
+ **Quality Control and Safety:**
+ Ensure that all construction work adheres to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols.
+ Assist in conducting safety inspections and ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
+ **Documentation and Compliance:**
+ Maintain accurate records of field activities, project milestones, and changes to the scope of work.
+ Ensure that project documentation is updated, including RFIs, submittals, and field reports.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ **Educational Requirements:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
+ A Master’s degree or advanced coursework in construction management is a plus.
+ **Licensing and Certification:**
+ Licensed Engineer (preferred by the California Board of Professional Engineers), or eligible for licensure.
+ Certifications such as AAAE, LEED, PMP, PE, or any other relevant professional certifications are highly preferred.
+ **Experience:**
+ 0-5 years for Junior Level
+ 5-10 years for Mid-Level
+ 15+ years for Senior Level
+ Previous experience on aviation or infrastructure projects is strongly preferred.
**Compensation:**
$62k-104k
The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state’s law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
