Field Engineer

System One is seeking an energetic and personable Field Engineer who can grow within our client’s organization. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience with a respected client in the utilities industry!
Important Details:
Temp-to-hire opportunity with possibility of conversion to a permanent role after 520 hours worked
Pay rate range: $30 - $40/hr. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Weekly pay
Benefits after 30 days (health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, etc.)
401k after 30 days
Job offer will be contingent on drug screen and background check
REQUIREMENTS:
Engineering Degree required (Civil or Mechanical)
1-3 years of "Field" experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Candidates must be local to Spring Valley, NY (remote work is not an option) or live within a commutable distance so they can work both in the office and conduct field work
PROJECT TYPES:
Facility construction/renovation are our main projects. But we oversee some very diverse projects.
