Field Engineer

As a key member of the Albireo team, the Field Engineer will be responsible for:

On-Site Engineering & System Implementation Performing field engineering for building automation systems (BAS) in commercial office buildings, data centers, and pharmaceutical facilities. Conducting site surveys, reviewing project specifications, and assessing system requirements to ensure proper integration and functionality. Supporting the installation, commissioning, and testing of building automation and control systems. Technical Support & Troubleshooting Providing technical assistance to installation teams, commissioning teams, and service divisions to ensure system performance and reliability. Troubleshooting and resolving BMS integration issues, including software, hardware, and network-related problems. Collaborating with project teams to identify and correct field modifications and discrepancies. Project Coordination & Documentation Reviewing mechanical drawings, specifications, and project details received from the sales team to ensure alignment with project objectives. Assisting with the procurement of necessary equipment and materials for system installation. Preparing and updating technical documentation, including as-built drawings, point-to-point wiring diagrams, control panel layouts, valve and damper schedules, and bill of materials. Submitting RFIs (Request for Information) to project teams and clients as needed to clarify system requirements. System Optimization & Integration Ensuring compliance with project-specific sequences of operations and control strategies. Assisting in the development and enhancement of graphical user interfaces for BAS systems. Working with application engineers and project managers to optimize system performance and efficiency. Collaboration & Communication Attending project meetings and providing field insights to support project planning and scheduling. Acting as a liaison between field technicians, project managers, and engineering teams to ensure seamless execution of automation projects. Providing input for continuous improvement of company standards and engineering processes.

This role requires strong technical acumen, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in the field while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
