Iconica is seeking a Field Engineer Intern to join our team for summer 2025! In this role, you’ll work closely with Field Superintendents and Carpenters, gaining hands-on experience in: + Coordinating with subcontractors and construction project managers to ensure timely task completion. + Constructing, installing, and remodeling structures using wood, plywood, laminates, and steel with both hand and power tools. + Learning the proper sequence of activities to assemble a building. + Reviewing subcontractor scopes of work, performing shop drawing reviews, and managing punch list and warranty items. + Assisting with quality control by helping create punch lists and verifying completed tasks. + Supporting client commitments through project schedule management and safety initiatives. + Building and strengthening relationships with clients and subcontractors. Qualified candidates will have the following: + Enrollment in a Civil Engineering or Construction Management program. + Previous internship experience in design-build or construction (preferred). + Leadership roles in extracurricular activities or student organizations. + Ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams. + High initiative and passion for learning. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
