This role involves providing on-site and remote support, troubleshooting, and installation of IT systems and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in both areas, coupled with exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to interact effectively with clients. Key Responsibilities:
On-Site Support: Perform on-site installations, configurations, and troubleshooting of IT systems and network infrastructure. Address and resolve issues promptly to minimize downtime.
System & Network Integration: Work with clients to integrate and optimize systems and network solutions. Ensure compatibility and performance of both hardware and software components.
Troubleshooting & Problem Resolution: Diagnose and resolve complex system and network issues. Provide detailed documentation and reports on findings and resolutions.
Maintenance & Upgrades: Conduct regular maintenance and upgrades of systems and network components. Implement patches, updates, and new features as required.
Client Interaction: Act as a technical liaison between the client and the company. Provide excellent customer service, including training and support to end-users as needed.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including support engineers and project managers, to deliver high-quality solutions and meet client expectations.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all installations, configurations, and support activities. Create and update technical documentation and reports.
Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience: Minimum of [X] years of experience in a similar role with a strong background in both systems and network engineering.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in system administration (e.g., Windows Server, Linux). Strong knowledge of network protocols, hardware, and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routers, switches). Experience with network security practices and tools (e.g., firewalls, VPNs). Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V). Ability to configure and troubleshoot network equipment and servers.Certifications (Preferred but not required):
CompTIA Network+ or Security+. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA). Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or similar. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) is a plus.Soft Skills:
