Field Engineering Intern
**Job Title: Field Engineering Intern** **Job Code: INT003** **Summary** This role will assist and be under the guidance of Renewable Generation supervision and engineering staff working on assignments to meet various utility facility needs and meet strategic objectives. **Principal Duties and Responsibilities** + This position requires a current student of an ABET accredited, four-year engineering program + High importance placed on the ability to express technical concepts effectively, both verbal and written + High consideration for those candidates with interpersonal skills which are effective in communication with internal and external customers + Desire a quick learner with the willingness to remain flexible in various work assignments + Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation + Assist with integration of assets into the work management system + Assist with creation of job plans, work methods, and review/updating of departmental procedures + Perform observations in the field including surveys of vegetation management + Assemble data for various stakeholder queries + Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on status updates and report optimization + Review reports such as those from drone surveys and enter service requests related to those in need of maintenance + Consolidation/reporting of training records and personal protective equipment for solar technicians + Successful candidate will start in summer 2025 + Safety consciousness required **Required Qualifications for Position** + Current student of an accredited, four-year Engineering program + Must have completed at least one year of undergraduate study + Ability to work 40 hrs/week (Hybrid role) + Proficiency with PC applications and prefer strong skills with AutoCAD and MS Excel & Access + Proven communication skills + Authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship **Disclaimer** This description is not designed to be a complete list of all duties and responsibilities required of the position. **Work Authorization** Authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship. **Inclusion & Diversity** Value inclusion within your day to day responsibilities by respecting others perspectives/convictions, engaging others opinions, creating a safe environment where people, ideas, and opinions are valued within your Team/Customers and external partners.
