Field Engineering Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Engineering Technician to join our high-performance team. This role involves performing a wide variety of activities associated with the safe and efficient construction of Biogas facilities at farms in Ohio and Indiana. You will leverage your construction skills, working with a small, nimble team, and be prepared to travel and stay in hotels during the weekdays while returning home on weekends. Responsibilities + Operate construction equipment safely and efficiently. + Unload deliveries and ensure materials are correctly distributed. + Perform various mechanical and plumbing tasks as needed. + Troubleshoot and repair machinery as required. + Assist around the job site with various tasks to support construction activities. Essential Skills + Strong mechanical aptitude. + Ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery. + Experience with maintenance and preventive maintenance tasks. + Proficiency in using hand tools. + Electrical knowledge and experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Strong people skills. + Previous experience as a maintenance technician. Work Environment + This position requires working on farms around Northwest Ohio, traveling from site to site with overnight stays in the area. + The work schedule consists of four 10-hour days, with weekends at home. + The role involves outdoor work in various weather conditions and the use of construction equipment and tools.
