The Field Excellence Manager is responsible for driving achievement of field execution KPIs that deliver desired results for our Oncology portfolio, with a strong emphasis on product access, nurse education and/or operational efficiencies for our products. More specifically, the role is responsible for providing analytical and operational support to ensure our field leaders have the necessary information and insights to appropriately drive field execution and achieve business priorities. This role will identify, diagnose and understand key business trends, generate insights, support desired field execution, strategically allocate resources, and broadly support field activities to achieve priorities. The Field Excellence Manager will support cross-functional collaboration across internal business partners (i.e. Marketing, SCG, PS&E, Strategy Transformation & Analytics, etc.) to facilitate pull through of key business strategies and tactics. The Field Excellence Manager is a home office role able to work remotely, reporting to the Sr. Director, Portfolio Strategy & Oncology Clinical Education. This role will support all Oncology Franchise Field teams with primary areas of focus including but are not limited to the following: + Partner with Sr. Directors & Regional Business Directors to explore market trends, identify customer insights, develop targeted business solutions, and develop tactical direction for the field + Identify and pull through needs across the nation/region to design and execute national, regional and district level Oncology Meetings/conferences that pull through national aligned Brand strategies + Identify and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) [i.e. dashboards] to ensure focus and discipline in field execution + Identify opportunities and risks associated with achieving strategic targets + Create and align strategic action plans based on insights from business, customers, and financial metrics & analytics + Utilize insights from internal partners and stakeholders to develop a fully aligned and comprehensive annual regional business plan + In partnership with the RBD, identify and communicate potential training needs to the Field Training Manager for local/national implementation + Develop and implement strategies that enable field executional excellence with respect to incentive compensation, data management, business planning + Partner with Strategy Transformation & Analytics to assess execution insights at national and local levels + Work across internal functions supporting Oncology and develop productive working relationships with internal and external partners to support the delivery of new and innovative solutions **Qualifications** Required: + A minimum of a bachelor’s degree + A minimum of 5 years of relevant business experience in sales, market research, forecasting, marketing intelligence, business analytics, strategic planning, finance, or management consulting is required + The selected candidate must be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other business tools. + Experience in leveraging common visualization software like Qlik, Tableau or PowerBI is preferred + The selected candidate must possess strong analytical and strategic thinking and planning abilities, must work well in a matrix environment without direct line authority be able to influence thinking amongst senior leaders and possess excellent communication skills. + Strength in storytelling, data visualization and developing effective presentations. The selected candidate must demonstrate capabilities and traits for career path versatility to progress to other key roles. + The ability to travel up to 25%, which may include overnight/weekend travel Preferred: + Oncology pharmaceutical sales experience The anticipated base pay range for this position is $100,000 to $172,500. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year.
