Join our team and help build engineering solutions that change the industry. **Job Summary:** The Field Frac Technician II installs, maintains, and repairs frac equipment consisting of API 6A Gate Valves, chokes, casing, and tubing heads and spools. The Field Frac Technician I is a skilled, experienced technician with the ability to perform most tasks independently while seeking guidance or training for more critical tasks. **What You Will Do:** + Effectively demonstrate the core values of SPM Oil & Gas at all times + Follow all written policies and procedures safely without deviation or refer to upper management for guidance + Exhibit and advocate exemplary safety culture at all times + Demonstrate consistency, accountability, reliability and solid work ethic + Prepare JSA (Job Safety Analysis) and POWRA (Point of Work Risk Assessment) on job site and perform all duties in a safe manner and in accordance with SPM Oil & Gas SHE policies + Adhere to and exercise Stop Work Authority and Management of Change + Safely install, remove, repair and service equipment on a frac site. + Pre-check all equipment and processes prior to starting the job to ensure all equipment is operable and complete + Make repairs to customer property and rental assets including valves, spools, chokes, actuators, and surface equipment as required + Inspects, rebuilds, operates, tests and troubleshoot equipment. + Monitors, evaluates and recommends adjustments to processes and or equipment that maximizes quality and efficiency + Operates equipment and materials following OEM guidelines as well as standard operating procedures. + Provides technical expertise and direction to frac site supervisors, as well as third party providers when necessary + Prepare accurate field service and sales orders in an organized, legible manner, in addition to any other necessary documentation + Demonstrate the ability to perform independently or in a team setting + Available on 24-hour call to respond to customer needs + Communicate effectively, both verbally and written + Perform occasional required work in the shop; must be knowledgeable on shop functions + Performs other duties as assigned **What You Will Have:** + Minimum of 2 years of experience in hydraulic fracturing operations, field service, or a related oil and gas role + Must be authorized to operate a company vehicle + Must have a clean driving record **Physical Demands:** + Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear + Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl + Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds + Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus + Must be able to wear protective footwear and other PPE as required by the department **Work Environment:** + Regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles + Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions + Occasionally exposed to high, precarious places and vibration + Noise level: Moderate **Summary Pay Range:** $26.30 - $35.20 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
