Job Title: Field Install Welder
Job Description: Join our family-owned fabrication shop, specializing in creating and installing sawdust collection and disposal systems for the lumber industry. Our systems feature large steel buckets that pour sawdust into trucks for removal. We are looking for a Field Install Welder skilled in MIG/SMAW welding and ready to travel to various project locations, including Arkansas, Texas, North Carolina, and more. Entry-level candidates with their own welding hood and a valid driver's license are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
Install sawdust collection systems at customer locations.Perform primarily stick welding for installation projects.Read and interpret prints, drawings, schematics, and field layouts.Operate boom and scissor lifts.Use overhead cranes.Essential Skills:
Proficiency in MIG and SMAW welding.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.Skilled in operating boom and scissor lifts.Basic fabrication skills.OSHA-10 or MSHA certification preferred.Experience with mild steel welding.Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Field installation experience preferred but not required.1-3 years of welding/fabrication experience.Why Work Here? Work Environment: Our fabrication shop has been in business since 1979, primarily building equipment for the lumber industry. Workdays can vary based on the project but typically start around 5 am. We provide hotel accommodations and a daily per diem for travel projects.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00
