Field Inventory Sr Auditor

We are committed to creating an environment where every team member feels inspired, invested, cared for, valued, and have a strong sense of belonging. **What You Can Expect** The Field Inventory Sr Auditor provides support for Zimmer Biomet by maintaining and expanding relationships with our customers who include distributors, independent agents, direct sales, and support staff. The Auditor’s overall objective is to satisfy, and often exceed, our customer’s needs by conducting periodic inventory audits that are complete and conciliatory, ensuring inventory records and traceability are transacted appropriately. **How You'll Create Impact** + Field travel to conduct physical audits throughout the US on a monthly basis. + Collaborates with Audit team to maintain proper inventory controls and traceability for inventory across physical locations. + Follow all standard operating procedures, written and oral, at all times. + Leads training, guidance, and support, as necessary, to distributors and sales management regarding inventory management. + Interfaces with distributors, sales management, and operations personnel to discuss inventory discrepancies; provides supporting documentation to Audit Supervisor to seek a conclusion. + Investigate and reconcile discrepancies found in inventory records and systems. + Acts as lead Auditor or team member during account visits, primary point person for Distributor, ability to lead any part of the Audit process + Trains and mentors other Field Inventory Auditors _This is not an exhaustive list of duties or functions and might not necessarily comprise all of the essential functions for purposes of the Americans with Disabilities Act._ **What Makes You Stand Out** + Focus on attention to detail and accuracy + Proficient in Audit hardware and software, computer literate with advance familiarity with Microsoft Suite, especially MS Excel + Ability to understand Audit success (compares physical counts of inventory to recorded amount), able to identify corrections or potential gaps onsite within team + Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially the ability to foster positive relationships with all internal and external stakeholders. + Ability to develop leadership and customer service skills to effectively communicate with customers, team members and management. + Must be able to lift 50 lbs., bend, stretch, and stand for extended periods of time. + Required to obtain appropriate immunizations necessary to enter sterile surgical areas for inventory counts. + Must have a valid driver’s license. **Your Background** + High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree desirable. + 4 - 6 years related experience, preferably within the medical device industry. + Prior experience physical auditing or inventory management is preferred. **Travel Expectations** Required up to 75% travel, primarily between February and October. **Expected Compensation Range** $22.22 - $27.78/hour USD EOE/M/F/Vet/Disability
