Field Learning Manager

Nouria Energy Corporation is a multi-generational family-owned wholesale fuel distributor, convenience store operator and car wash operator in New England. Our wholesale and retail fuel businesses are multi-branded, which includes Shell, Mobil, Irving, Sunoco, Gulf, Valero, Citgo, Phillips 66, Exxon, and multiple unbranded brands. Responsibilities include:
• Identifies and assesses training and development needs for field Team Members.
• Leads the implementation of training programs for field audiences.
• Leads the field change management efforts, in partnership with field leadership, for new programs, and initiatives.
• Monitors and maintains field performance as related to training completion, adoption, and key performance metrics as determined by the Director of L&D
• Identifies, certifies, and maintains Training store and On the Job Training Coaches status
• Reviews and suggests training documentation updates.
• Supports Team Members during new acquisitions.
• Plans and organizes logistics of local training.
• Partners with DMs to develop and support the completion of learning action plans addressing training and development needs for field Team Members.
• Weekly evening/closing store visits to assess location training on all shifts.
• Supports new manager onboarding and training.
• Support any other L&D (Learning & Development) initiatives as they arise.

Qualifications
• Ability to facilitate classroom (in person and virtual) learning, and on the job training.
• Ability to influence, interact with and present to all levels of Team Members including senior leadership.
• Ability to identify opportunities, diagnose the issue, and get to root cause to suggest appropriate solutions and options.
• Demonstrates active listening skills, and open to feedback
• Exercises good judgment in decision-making.
• Holds self-accountable to high personal standards of conduct and professionalism.
• Serves as a role model by demonstrating and upholding Nouria’s policies, standards, and Company values.
• Experience with adult learning theory and instructional design best practices OR the equivalent business experience

Requirements:
• Ability to Travel 80% of the time, and travel to Worcester office for on-site meetings and connections as needed.
• Proficient in a variety of technology systems, especially Microsoft 365, Workday HCM/LMS, and eLearning Systems (Captivate, Articulate, Storyline, etc.) and able to adapt to new systems quickly.
• 1-3 years of experience in a formal Learning and Development environment strongly preferred.
• Familiarity of industry standard assessment tools strongly preferred.
• College degree preferred.
