What you will do:

As our Field Market Access and Reimbursement Manager, you will provide strategic support to current customers to resolve reimbursement issues and share data to support Stryker contract negotiations. Additionally, you will serve as a strategic business partner to Customer Solutions and Field sales to educate and share data to support Stryker contract negotiations. You will also educate, train and support field sales team on reimbursement-related issues, including coverage, coding, and payment specific to Trauma and Extremities and Joint Replacement.

This role needs to located in the Western half of the United States.

You will be speaking to customers up to C suite level and will get to use your excellent presentation skills.

You will be able to build strong 1A and 1B relationships.

Exceptional problem-solving expertise. The ideal candidate will thrive on resolving issues, improving customer satisfaction, and ensuring a smooth customer journey by identifying solutions and proactively addressing concerns.

Travel with field sales team members to support and educate customers with identified reimbursement challenges or training on reimbursement opportunities.

Lead strategies to expand market access to Stryker Orthopedic products

Develop and maintain relationships with Medicare contractors and commercial payors (including Medical Directors, Policy Analysts, Case Managers, Provider Relations Representatives, etc.) to obtain positive coverage decisions that include adequate payment

Develop and maintain relationships with KOLs and state professional society leadership to support reimbursement efforts

Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of regional and local reimbursement coverage issues through payor research, face-to-face meetings, KOL interviews and attendance at public meetings

Facilitate coverage and payment for Stryker Orthopedic products

What you need:

Bachelor’s degree is required for this role. 

MBA or advanced degree is preferred.

8+ years relevant experience required.

Prior role within reimbursement (medical device, pharmaceutical or biotechnology) or at a minimum, familiarity, or prior experience with reimbursement is mandatory for this role.

Coding, coverage and reimbursement experience within medical device or biotechnology industry is strongly preferred.

Ability to travel up to 30% of time meeting with customers, KOL’s, payors, conferences, and internal groups.

$112,800 - $239,900 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Travel Percentage: 30%
