Job Description

Olympus, a leader in the gastrointestinal endoscopic equipment market, has a rich history of developing innovative products for diagnosing and treating GI diseases. As the Field Marketing Manager for Infection Prevention Solutions (IPS), you will collaborate with our experienced sales team to drive sales and business outcomes for the OER-Elite Endoscope Reprocessor and other infection-prevention products. Your role will involve converting OER-Pro users to the OER-Elite Reprocessors, reinforcing marketing messages, priorities, and programs while supporting product demonstrations and building strong relationships with Health Care Providers (HCPs) such as physicians, nurse managers, and reprocessing technicians. This position demands expertise to maintain and enhance HCP support for adopting new technologies and products.

The focus of this role will be on converting current OER-Pro users to the latest technologies, establishing them as the new standard of care. You will develop close relationships with reference institutions and build professional connections with Health Care Providers (HCPs), as well as with professional medical organizations and societies. Additionally, you will work closely with the Endoscopy sales team to ensure that the right accounts receive the necessary attention.

As the Field Marketing Manager, you will execute marketing programs to promote the adoption of newer OER platforms. You will be a key resource for the IPS Marketing team and Sales, providing insights from clinical research, case studies, and white papers. Moreover, you will be the go-to expert for understanding competitor information and emerging technologies in endoscope reprocessing. This position requires a blend of sales, marketing, clinical knowledge, leadership, and C-suite-level communication skills.

Job Duties Product and technology expert to drive adoption of the Olympus OER-Elite product line and other Infection Prevention Solutions products. Cultivate and maintain relationships within your area, identifying where Olympus needs expertise to support the business while adhering to our code of ethics and compliance guidelines. Implement defined marketing strategies to achieve corporate Management by Objectives and Sales growth targets. Provide the sales team with skills and resources to effectively influence healthcare professionals and other champions in purchasing our products.  Facilitate product demos to ensure a comprehensive product experience for potential customers. Drive EAM targeting and market segmentation, develop quotes, and manage opportunities and OMNI leads through the sales funnel. Provide feedback to the marketing team on key growth areas by attending relevant tradeshows and society meetings, meeting with HCPs to obtain the voice of the customer (VOC) and staying informed about competitive products and industry developments. Identify sales and marketing opportunities and develop pursuit plans and strategies. Provide the sales organization with educational support, marketing resources, and guidance on target segmentation and promotions. Collaborate with product marketing and professional education to understand and address HCP needs for the safe and effective use of Olympus equipment. Develop and implement a dinner speaker program to promote Olympus endoscope reprocessing products to customers. Identify opportunities to develop HCP facilities as reference sites for key products and technologies. Coordinate co-marketing programs with facilities. Provide a regular management report that shows activities, accomplishments, and sales tracking. Assist in coordinating on-site prototype and product evaluations, and visits from R&D and others. Perform all other related duties as assigned. Job Qualifications

Required: 

Bachelor's in marketing, business, or a related field. Minimum of 5-7 years of health care marketing and/or sales and/or clinical experience. Experience in developing and managing HCP relationships Experience in launching new technologies and products. Proven ability to develop and grow business based on procedure-focused sales. Demonstrated ability to develop strategic marketing plans, execute tactically, and lead change. Ability to interpret trends and data, translating the information into actions and improvements. Ability to manage, direct, and coordinate sales groups and corporate resources. Willingness to travel for customer meetings and tradeshows; some international travel is required. 80% travel required (4 field days, 1 office/administrative day)

 

Preferred:

Advanced degree (MBA, MPH, RN) preferred. Experience selling Automated Endoscope Reprocessors (AERs) or experience directing/managing endoscope reprocessing rooms is strongly preferred Experience in interacting with a diverse cross-functional team, strong prospecting skills Self-starter, capable of independent action, detail-oriented, multi-task/time management, ability to internalize technical concepts, products, and services. Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills at all levels.
