Field Mechanic
**Job Title: Field Mechanic** **Job Description** As a Field Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing material handling equipment at various customer locations. You will travel in a fully equipped service vehicle to ensure peak performance and maximum uptime for the equipment. **Responsibilities** + Diagnose and repair material handling equipment at customer locations. + Perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment including Genie lifts, Boom lifts, John Deere, Caterpillar, Kubota, Volvo, Doosan, Crains, Komatsu, Nissan, Toyota, Hyster, Linde, and Yale. + Ensure equipment is running in peak form and maximizing uptime. + Travel to various locations in a fully loaded service vehicle. + Interact with customers to provide excellent service and support. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of experience diagnosing and repairing equipment, preferably in the material handling industry. + Basic computer knowledge. + Self-motivation and ability to work under little or no supervision. + Excellent communication and customer relations skills. + Valid driver's license with a good driving record. + Must provide own tools. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Aerial experience preferred. + Hydraulic, welding, and fabrication skills. + Experience as a heavy equipment, diesel, forklift, or Stryker mechanic. + Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical repair. **Why Work Here?** We offer competitive pay based on your skills, training, and experience level. This role involves travel to customer locations in a fully equipped service vehicle. The environment requires you to provide your own tools and maintain a valid driver's license with a good driving record. The company maintains a drug-free workplace and requires candidates to pass a pre-employment drug test. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of SEATTLE, Washington. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $48.00/hr.
