We seek a Medical Affairs leader who can inspire teams, drive medical excellence, and create meaningful stakeholder impact as a Field Medical Lead, Neurology.

 

About the Role:
The Field Medical Lead will:
•    Lead and develop the US MSL team, ensuring excellence in medical delivery, external engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.
•    Contribute to US neurology strategy, ecosystem plans, and Global Medical capability development.

What you’ll do
•    MSL Leadership: Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, development, and performance management of the US MSL team.
•    Field Medical Execution: Implement and monitor field medical plans, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and effective external engagement.
•    Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to align medical strategies with ecosystem and asset plans.
•    Stakeholder Engagement: Establish presence with external stakeholders, including opinion leaders and advocacy groups.
•    Operational Excellence: Drive best practices, resource optimization, budget management, and alignment with regulatory and compliance standards.
•    Insight Sharing: Gather and share field insights to inform global and regional strategies, and evolving MSL excellence frameworks.
•    Capability Building: Implement and pilot initiatives that enhance the MSL community’s impact, both locally and globally.

 

Who You’ll Work With:
•    Internal teams including Medical Affairs, Learning & Development, and ecosystem leads.
•    External stakeholders such as healthcare professionals, advocacy leaders, and key decision-makers.
 

Interested? For this role, we’re looking for the following education, experience, and skills.
Minimum qualifications:
•    Doctoral Degree (M.D., Ph.D., PharmD).
•    5+ years in Medical Affairs leadership or 3+ years managing a field medical team.

Preferred qualifications:
•    Experience in neurology or related therapeutic areas.
•    Strong strategic planning, communication, and leadership skills.
•    Proficiency in digital tools, medical governance, and compliance.
•    Proven ability to translate scientific data into stakeholder value propositions.

 

This position’s anticipated base salary range is 187k-245k per year. The actual salary offered may also vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity, among other factors.
