**Job Summary**
As a Field Operations Manager, you will support and enhance the Environmental Health and Safety programs at our manufacturing facility and promote a safe and compliant work environment by implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving safety and environmental programs in alignment with company policies and regulatory standards.
**Job Description**
We are looking for an Environmental Health & Safety in the Fuquay Varina, NC area **.** This position will be **full-time** and **on-site.**
**What You'll Do**
+ Support and lead the day-to-day EHS operations, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, local, and company regulations
+ Develop and deliver EHS training programs to employees at all levels, emphasizing hazard recognition, accident prevention, and safety best practices
+ Conduct risk assessments and job safety analyses to identify and mitigate potential hazards
+ Lead or support investigations into accidents, injuries, and near-miss incidents; perform root cause analyses and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence
+ Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of incidents and ensure timely reporting to regulatory agencies when required
+ Collaborate with department heads and employees to foster a culture of continuous improvement regarding safety and environmental compliance
+ Monitor environmental metrics, ensuring compliance with environmental permits, waste management practices, and pollution control
+ Conduct regular EHS audits and inspections to identify potential hazards, evaluate control measures, and ensure compliance with regulations and standards
+ Support emergency response planning, including training and drill execution for employees
+ Assist in maintaining emergency equipment and procedures, including fire extinguishers, spill kits, and evacuation plans
**What You'll Need**
Required:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health, or related field, or equivalent work experience
+ 3+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with hands-on knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state regulations
+ Strong organizational and communication skills, with an ability to work effectively across departments
+ Proficiency in EHS software and Microsoft Office applications
**Physical Demands**
+ Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
+ Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
+ Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
