The SACROC Production Field employs over 1200 production/injection wells, 22 Separation facilities, 10 Water collection facilities, and 6 Water Injection Stations used for the production of oil and CO2/Water Injection. The position will be an Injection Field Operator position on a 7 on, 7 off schedule. The Field Operator position plays a vital role in maintaining the safe and efficient operations of the SACROC Field Water/CO2 Injection Wells and it's Water/CO2 pipelines. The Field Injection System plays a crucial part of SacRoc’s oil production, which also includes Water and Gas processing. This Position will be required to work alone, with minimal direct supervision and must be able to communicate clearly with other operators and relief staff of operational issues and reports. Position level is commensurate with experience and skill sets. Essential duties and responsibilities : + Must have a mind set for SAFETY and achieving zero incidents. + The candidate will operate all SACROC Injection wells safely and comply with regulatory agency guidelines and corporate policies. + Promote the Company's EHS philosophy and culture + 30-minute response time during a call out is required + Work with other Operators and Supervision to maintain and operate injection wells and water stations (if needed). + Troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment + Shutdown and start-up of equipment (pumps, facilities, equipment, etc.) + Perform Lockout/Tag out of all equipment in an assigned area. + Assist in repair and maintenance issues with all equipment. + Test Injection wells, collect production csg readings and interface with other Area operators. + Ensure quality information is being recorded and distributed and entered into the database system. “Prodnet” + Maintain all assigned injection and rotating equipment at facilities. + Report any and all Safety Hazards in a timely manner. + Must be willing to work overtime and cover counterparts’ vacations. + Must follow all company Policies and Procedures without deviation. + The candidate will also be trained in Hot Work and Confined Space permitting and will be assigned duties related to such permitting. + Interact with company and contract personnel + Other duties as assigned. + Job level commensurate with experience. Position Requirements Minimum requirements : Education: + High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience / Specific knowledge: + 1 to 5 yrs. minimum experience operating in the Oil and Gas Industry. + EOR preferred experience.” Enhanced Oil Recovery “ + Recognizes the importance of safety, willing to lead and participate in promoting safe operations + Basic math and computer skills + Must be able to handle multiple areas of SacRoc + Advanced proficiency level with Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint applications + Must be a self-starter with a high drive for results + Must have good time management skills and be able to handle multiple tasks at same time. Competencies, skills, and abilities: + Be willing to work with pressure that ranges from 0-2300#. + Computer skills must be proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. + Must be a self-motivated individual with an open mind.
