Opportunity Snapshot:

Compensation: $35/hour, DOELocation: Big Lake, TXWork Schedule: M-F / 40 hours+ (on call some nights and weekends)Assignment Duration: 12 months+Benefits: Comprehensive insurance, 401(k) program, PTO & Holidays, Company vehicle Responsibilities Maintain, install, test and repair all devices associated with automation field operations processes and equipmentSupport Company's field operations throughout the Permian by ensuring that Company's Safely 8760 and Stewardship 365 objectives are met and driven consistently at the field level. Expected to exemplify and enforce HSE policies. Be accountable for tasks being performed on locations to ensure safe workOnce employed, a skill matrix coinciding with this description will be assigned that further defines the job duties for progression/promotion purposesLearn to calibrate, program, maintain and repair automation equipment at wells and facilities alongside an experienced technicianLearn to troubleshoot malfunctions and repair control devices and communication equipment alongside an experienced technicianLearn to move and install POCs (Pump Off Controllers) on rod wells alongside an experienced technicianLearn to understand and operate Pioneer SCADA systemsMaintain required tracking for daily tasks and performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor, to include special projects Qualifications 3.5 years of oil and gas experience or 2 years of automation experience with 1 year as a Lease Operator or equivalent experience/certification/degree in Automation systemsKnowledgeable and has an understanding of basic electrical systems. Technical certification preferredA current valid vehicle operator’s license with an insurable driving record is requiredBasic understanding of Microsoft Office SuiteGood verbal and written skillsDuties require close vision, distance vision, and color vision. Willing and able to work in hazardous environmentsMust be open to the employment of new procedures, technologies and equipment that have the capability of optimizing Client’s field operations, and must have the capability of collecting and documenting any data necessary to evaluate new procedures, technologies and equipment as may be employed and tested from time to time. Must be adaptable to change, motivated and be a self-starterHigh School Diploma or equivalent certification required
