Our client is looking for a Field Operator to join their team in Midland, TX on an initial 5-month contract (with the possibility of extension depending on performance).

Works with completions, construction and operations to get new wells for production, including early well life flowback supervision, optimization, testing and facility start up to maximize productivity and prepare wells for operation by the production or any other duties assigned by supervisor.

Major Responsibilities: Assist with procedures to get new well into production. Collects data from testing equipment (testers & trains) to show accurate readings for oil, water and gas production for new completions and enter daily production readings and well tests into WellDrive computer system. Follows and supports all Pioneer HSE policies, R2LB documentation and Safely 8760. Stays current with JPBE process. Reports to Production and Flowback Foreman on a regular basis. Uses SCADA & Ignition software as an aid in monitoring well production & SWD performance. Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor, including special projects.
Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent certification required. 2.5 years oil and gas experience preferred. Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills required of the position. Proficient computer skills required. A current valid vehicle operator’s license with an insurable driving record is required. Provides proper servicing, maintenance and security for company vehicle and all company property.
