Fugro is looking for a Field Project Supervisor to manage all aspects of field operations for large scale field survey services as assigned in support of land-based remote sensing, mapping, and aerial surveying.

The opportunity would interact with Fugro’s project management team, leadership, and client relations. You would manage daily operation of field crews in completion of various survey projects throughout the United States.

This opportunity will not provide relocation assistance.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead by example and place Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and the protection of the Environment as core values while never intentionally placing employees, our processes, customers, or the communities in which we live and work at risk.Manage daily operations of field crews, including subcontract crews, in completion of various survey projectsCoordinate daily project requirements from Project Managers and clientsReview the field collected survey data, on a daily basis, to ensure project requirements are metResearch survey control and geodetic requirements for projectsProcess GPS data for control surveysMaintain knowledge of the FLI-MAP processing softwareSupport FLI-MAP data collection (i.e. base station support) as necessaryAdvise client on all aspects of the survey component of the projectProvide written daily progress reports and project reports detailing project specificsCoordinate all administrative and logistical issues with Field Operations Manager

Job Requirements: 

Legally authorized to work in the United States, without restrictions.Possess or can obtain a valid passport and hold a valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.Must possess or be able to obtain Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) cardA minimum of a Bachelor's degree in GIS, LiDAR, Remote Sensing or similar degree plan is highly preferred.Possess at minimum 5 years of experience in surveying or aerial data acquisition is preferred.Proficient in GPS processing and data evaluation utilizing specialized software; experience with Applianix, POSPac, NovAtel POSGNSS, or Trimble Business Center a plusExperience with MS Office (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel); familiarity with CAD softwareMust have excellent and effective oral and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skillsMust be capable of working in an organized fashion under pressureMust be able to work independently without supervision
