OVERVIEW:
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Program Management
Manage tactical-level activities to improve field compliance programs and processes, including quarterback projects and cross-functional relationships and working groups, from risk owner leadership to operational employees; process analysis & improvement; drafting policies and process documentation for review by risk owner and approvers; communication planning; training development; technology solution management/ implementation, and change management.
Monitor metrics and analyze trends in field regulatory compliance functions that live within cross-functional business units to ensure accountability, at both Corporate and field management levels.
Monitor and consult on emerging field risk areas; suggest, propose and help implement new programs as needed, ensuring ownership lives with appropriate cross-functional department.
Support internal business partners with quick, accurate and meaningful answers to regulatory, technical, or other compliance-related questions/issues.
Provide other support as needed to Corporate Compliance Manager, Sr Director Corporate Compliance.
Training
Ensure appropriate, effective, and updated training programs for certain compliance programs, including developing content and leading training in some areas, and collaborating cross-functionally in others.
Manage and enforce training completion activity and related communications.
Represent company from time-to-time at industry association events.
Manage & develop direct report.
Reporting and Benchmarking
Track, research, and understand legislative and regulatory activity applicable to the Company including requirements related to the retail environment (includes partnering with Legal on occasion)
Perform industry benchmarking and risk assessments and make recommendations to inform and direct the Field & HR compliance strategy, including monitoring trends and identifying emerging risks.
Support executive report analysis and preparation as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in business oriented field, including human resources, law or audit
7-10 years experience, including 7+ years of audit, human resources, compliance or related retail experience; experience engaging industry. Retail experience preferred.
LEAN/Six Sigma Yellow Belt or higher
CCEP (Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional) - preferred but not required
