This is what you will do:
The Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) will be responsible for managing accounts in a specified region focusing on but not limited to Neurology. The FRM is responsible for providing access and reimbursement education to HCP office personnel including medical policies, prior authorization requirements, coding and billing, product access via buy-bill or specialty pharmacy and site of care options and restrictions with the goal of minimizing barriers to therapy. The FRM also supports by providing general education and case-specific guidance in response to PA denials and post service reimbursement issues.

You will be responsible for:
Partnering with Alexion cross-functional partners on overall account and territory strategy to maximize internal/external customer knowledge on payor policy and processesBeing a subject matter expert on reimbursement and regional-specific access landscape. This includes payorpolicies, prior authorization requirements, denials, appeals, peer to peer and other education required to navigate access for coverage of Alexion therapiesCreating short-term & long-term strategic account plans focused on increasing customers knowledge for key accountsCollaborating with Alexion OneSourcePatient Services on individual case management needs related to HCP education on reimbursement issuesLeveraging all available resources including internal data to develop and execute account plans/call purposeComplying with all laws, regulations and policies that govern the conduct of Alexion activities; works with the highest degree of professionalism and in accordance with the company’s code of Ethics and Business Conduct Complying with annual budget allocation within respective territoryYou will need to have:
Bachelor’s degreeMinimum of 5-7 years’ experience in the healthcare and/or pharmaceutical/ biotech industryMinimum of 3 years’ experience working with buy and bill and/or specialty pharmacy networksUnderstanding of access process from Rx to infusion/injectionExperience with products that require prior authorization and clear understanding of related billing, coding and in-office supportExcellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication and presentation skillsAbility to effectively communicate with people at all levels, inside and outside of the companyAbility to educate physicians and other healthcare professionals with confidence and expertise in an office procedural environmentStrong rapport building and active listening skillsProblem solver with a sense of urgencyDemonstrated technical aptitude and working proficiency in using iPad and working proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookThe duties of this role are generally conducted in a field environment.
