Job Description
We are seeking Account Development Executives to help launch a new partnership program with local businesses within rural communities. This role involves working with businesses to identify partnerships that will help expand small businesses and bring in more income.
ResponsibilitiesTravel within assigned territory in Virginia (Bristol, Big Stone Gap, Clintwood or Tazewell)Visit prospective businesses door-to-door in targeted towns (up to 2-hour driving distance).Present and pitch the new program opportunity to prospective businesses and generate interest to apply.Qualify prospective businesses and guide them through the application and vetting process.Track lead activity and manage the pipeline in Salesforce.Support the Field Manager to plan and host recruitment events in the community (e.g., lunch and learns, townhall meetings, coffee chats).Partner with the Field Manager to work with local influencers such as chambers of commerce and economic development associations.Import Excel spreadsheets into Salesforce on a weekly basis.Maintain and assign leads to the sales team, including prospecting for new leads.Manage the flow of incoming leads.Create and maintain sales reports.Analyze lead data (conversion rates, cost of leads, etc.).Work as a liaison with other groups in the company to help improve sales processes.Essential Skills1+ years of prior sales experience (preferably, field or door-to-door sales)Exceptional customer service and communication skills.Experience with Salesforce.com or other SFA tools.Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.Ability to be in the market for up to 8 hours daily.Attention to detail and ability to solve problems.Tech-savvy with experience working with multiple systems and technology.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrior experience in a role involving sales and/or negotiation with customers.Professionalism, enthusiasm to work with others, and a high sense of urgency.Spanish or Mandarin as a second language is a plus.Online research experience.Experience in outside sales or sales support.Ability to multitask and prioritize.Work Environment
The role requires travel within the assigned territory for 4+ days per week, with no weekend or overnight travel. Employees will work remotely when not traveling. Reliable transportation is needed, and mileage reimbursement is provided at 67 cents per mile. Employees will work M-F core business hours and will be home every night. The position offers a $50 monthly phone bill reimbursement and bonuses up to $350 per partnership. This is a commission-based role.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
