As a part of the Aero Sustainment Operations Logistics Information System (LIS) Warfighter International Team, the selected candidate will be working in a high paced environment in a Sustaining Engineering Organization as a lead to support project engineering for Norway, Korea and Japan, support as an SME for proposal and contract work and lead ITAR/TAA/E-shipper/PIA/Data Markings and working directly with F-35 Autonomic Logistic Information System / Operational Data Integrated Network (ALIS/ODIN) customers.
F-35 Sustainment crosses 3 different functional areas; Digital Sustainment Analytics Logistics Information System, Training Systems, Engineering & Technology.
Sustainment of each of these areas has products that will be delivered to foreign parties. The successful applicant will be responsible for coordinating between LIS Engineering, E & T , LM Aero and LM RMS International Trade Compliance (ITC), and the Joint Program Office (JPO) Export and Foreign Disclosure officers the development and approval of export documentation. He or she will work closely with both the LM LIS, E& T , LM Aero and RMS ITC organizations to ensure that LM RMS and Aero Engineering products have the coverage necessary to support their export to the foreign parties. The applicant will work with Norway, Japan and Korea customers as a country integration lead for supporting meetings, PMR, PMAT . Candidate will be capable for working contract, proposal , BOE work, PD-16 format , data markings and releasability of the ALIS/ODIN documents. Applicant will be responsible for JDL, E-shipper , export/import license. Applicant will be working with ITC and JPO personnel to develop the Technical Assistance Agreements through providing briefings on the products and, where necessary, support material to assist in making determinations on the exportability and releasability of RMS and Aero Engineering products. Candidate will support LIS and Aero management in developing strategies and policies for the export of RMS engineering products and Aero data products to the foreign partners. The applicant will provide Master Technology Transfer Coordinator assistance to RMS and Aero F-35 Sustainment personnel. The applicant will be the liaison between Aero and LIS engineering staff and ITC personnel to assist in interpreting engineering needs and requirements to ITC requirements necessary to create a successful export document.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Customer and PM interactions with military organizations across the F-35 fleet including new FMS countries
-Coordinating and supporting ALIS/ODIN Sustainment contract and proposal work
-Support Korea, Norway, Japan Program Management Reviews (PMRs); Program Management Action Team (PMAT)
-SME for TAA, PIA, ITAR, Export/import license and certification; support F-35 Export/Import Adjudication Board
-SME for PD-16 documents and JDL owner of 2000 folder and 2400 folder .Read/write access to JDL. Provide access to others to JDL and review releasability , data markings and posting documents to JDL.
• Communicating verbally and in writing with internal and external customers
• Mentoring junior team members
• Be willing to travel to international F-35 locations as needed
Must be a US citizen. This position requires special access and an active DoD Secret clearance
A level 4 employee Typically has 8 - 10 years of professional experience
